The Giannino Bassetti Foundation has been dealing with Responsibility in Innovation since 1994. If in the early years much energy was spent on spreading awareness of the need to govern innovation, now that the concept has also become the leitmotif of the more consolidated policies of the Community Europe, our work focuses on how to enable such governance to be achieved.
We therefore operate through public activities such as seminars, meetings, lectures, presentations, and private methods such as European projects, higher education and networking between institutions and the scientific-academic community and civil society.
In recent times we have been dealing in particular with: longevity and innovation, digitization (algorithms and artificial intelligence) and generations, citizen involvement in institutional decision-making processes, Responsible Research and Innovation in its definition and pervasiveness.
Since 2006, our site has been collecting the materials of this long in-depth study through a multiplicity of themes which, in the Archi-vivo section, we have grouped into four categories: Technology and Life Science, Governance and statehood, Transformation of Business, Innovation Poiesis Intensive.
