This June at the Politecnico di Milano, as part of the Job Design module within the PSSD Product Services System Design Masters Degree course, Fabio Besti presented the work of the Giannino Bassetti Foundation.
The course which is run by Professor Anna Meroni and co-taught by Prof. Daniela Selloni and Stefana Broadbent, is dedicated to the design of future projects and the services necessary to support them. It concentrates on those professions closely linked to the concept of responsible innovation and to the needs of those working towards a more sustainable future.
Fabio Besti, designer and collaborator with the Bassetti Foundation, presented his video-storytelling that he recently developed in order to explain the mission, activities and history of the Foundation. As a follow-up he described two of the projects that the foundation are involved in, SMART-map and Estensione.
SMART-map Road MAPs to Societal Mobilization for the Advancement of Responsible Industrial Technologies is an EU Horizon 2020 project that will last 30 months, and whose aim is to promote responsible innovation into the european industrial community.
Estensione is a project born from a collaboration between the Foundation and the Laboratory of Prototype Production in Design run by Giulio Ceppi at the Politecnico di Milano.
