VISIT THE FIRST COVER STORY OF THE GIANNINO BASSETTI FOUNDATION WEBSITE

The first Cover Story of the new Bassetti Foundation website is dedicated to ourselves, even though this unique space aims to give voice to the exchanges of thought that have strengthened our activities over the years. It is so for several reasons, the main one being to illustrate how this idea works. This edition is published as we begin our 30^th anniversary celebrations, so it seems appropriate that we provide something autobiographical. In essence, we are introducing ourselves.

The Cover Story includes the images of the Home Page and a web space that is designed ad hoc each time. When the next Cover Story is published, the images will remain visible in this Flickr album, while everything else will remain accessible through a dedicated search field on the Live-archive page.

For the first Cover Story we proposed a tour of the Bassetti Foundation building in 360° format. In navigating your way round, you will find many elements that offer an overview of the Foundation and its activities.

• Two videos. The first is the presentation of Piero Bassetti’s book ‘Beyond Alice’s Looking Glass’, and the second, representing one of the many initiatives held at our headquarters, the presentation of the book ‘Unequal Lives’.
• An overview of the tool through which it is possible to confidentially take notes on the pages of the site’s articles

In the Plenary Meeting Room:

• A presentation of the main body of our online presence the Live-archive, our constantly expanding archive. Our rudder and helm of thought.
• An introduction to the media through which the Bassetti Foundation presents its activities. In addition to articles there are videos, podcasts, and photographs.
• Some images of how the Foundation spaces are normally experienced – for presentations, seminars, debates, and public engagement
• Presentation videos of the books ‘Looking Beyond’ by Francesco Samorè and ‘Beyond Alice’s Looking Glass’ by Piero Bassetti
• Video of a recent meeting dedicated to dialogue with younger generations on the theme of artificial intelligence

In the Co-creation Room:
